A lot has been gong on in Fred Roche Gardens over recent weeks - thanks to MKCC, MyMilton Keynes, Glendale, and our team of volunteers.
This includes:
- repairs to the pergola
- proper marking out of the wildflower patches on the two lower grass areas
- removal of the square box hedge and replanting with new yew hedging
- a flagpole installed at the lower entrance to the gardens (see photo)

- resurfacing of the central cross paths
- further preparation of the old pond for planting in May
Still to come: we'll be planting out the new pond area with new plants which will over time transform this old area into a highlight of the gardens
