A lot has been gong on in Fred Roche Gardens over recent weeks - thanks to MKCC, MyMilton Keynes, Glendale, and our team of volunteers.

This includes:

  • repairs to the pergola
  • proper marking out of the wildflower patches on the two lower grass areas
  • removal of the square box hedge and replanting with new yew hedging
  • a flagpole installed at the lower entrance to the gardens (see photo)

  • resurfacing of the central cross paths
  • further preparation of the old pond for planting in May

 

Still to come:  we'll be planting out the new pond area with new plants which will over time transform this old area into a highlight of the gardens
